Spicer on Reports About Changing White House Role: ‘I’m Right Here… Keep Taking Your Selfies’ (Mediaite)

In his return to the Briefing Room, Sean Spicer was asked on Tuesday if he could confirm the recent reports that he’s about to shed his role as press secretary, in order to take a new communications job within the White House.

“I’m right here. You can keep taking your selfies,” Spicer jokingly responded.

Spicer seemed to partially confirm the reports by talking about how the Trump administration has been holding interviews in order to fill certain vacancies in their communications department. Spicer wouldn’t elaborate on what this would mean for him personally, but he stated that the Executive Branch has been holding meetings and and speaking to those who have expressed interest in working for the White House.
