Mukasey: ‘There Is No Obstruction’ of Any Investigation or Evidence of Any Collusion

‘There is no obstruction of any investigation’

EXCERPT:

HEMMER: "Was there obstruction that you have found?"
MUKASEY: "Based on what I’ve seen, no. There is no obstruction of any investigation."
HEMMER: "Was there collusion in this case?"
MUKASEY: "As far as I can tell, nobody has found any evidence of collusion. If there were, it wouldn’t be a crime."
HEMMER: "If that’s the case on those three questions, with your answers, where is this going?"
MUKASEY: "You would have to ask the senators who are doing it but it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere productive."
