MARTIN: “The only acceptable bigotry in the country now is to be anti-Christian, to be against Christians. I live out here in Missouri, in kind of the Bible belt. People really wear their religion on their sleeve and they care about their faith and their church. They talk about how it informs who they are. By the way, it is not a Christian country. We’re a Judeo-Christian country. Bernie Sanders should know that. And the fact is that what's happening is people are being targeted because they’re Christian because of the policy positions that guys like Sanders don’t like. Pro-life, more conservative on some of the education issues and all. I think this is helpful because every time Bernie Sanders is the front of the Democrat Party, the Democrat Party slides into irrelevance and we can count on more thoughtful people coming forward.”
