Ignatius: Fact Trump Doesn’t Understand Russia Is Attacking U.S. Should Worry People

IGNATIUS: “Not only was the President not curious about what the Russians were doing, but to the extent that information about their operations surfaced, he said 'Bring it on.' He said, 'I’d like WikiLeaks to get more documents about Hillary Clinton and put them more into our race. Let’s have more Russian influence.' I think that is a genuinely troubling part of this. One thing that came across loud and clear from both sides of the aisle was this is a serious Russian assault on our political system. The chairman, Senator Burr couldn’t have been clearer about that. And the fact that Trump from the beginning of the story until today doesn’t seem to understand that, that our country is under assault from a major adversary, I think should worry people. The whole of the country should be worried.”
