McCain: ‘I Have Never Seen the World in More Turmoil than it Is Today’

‘I have never imagined there would be such a lack of positive American leadership’

McCain: I Have Never Seen the World in More Turmoil Than It Is Today (Washington Free Beacon)

Sen. John McCain (R., Ariz.) called Obama “naive” on Fox News’s The O’Reilly Factor, saying he fails to understand the consequences of the United States withdrawing from the world. “I have never seen the world in more turmoil than it is today, across the Middle East, challenges from China, this situation on our own border.”

“I have never imagined there would be such a lack of positive American leadership,” McCain continued, “and the consequences are horrendous. 170,000 dead in Syria, the destabilization of the entire region, the list goes on and on.”

McCain also said Obama’s decision not to visit the border shows a lack of sensitivity, and called for Obama to take action, including placing more pressure on the unaccompanied minors’ home countries.
