Pelosi Not Worried About High Cost of California’s Single-Payer Health Care Proposal (NTK Network)

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi expressed optimism over California’s single-payer health care proposal‘s high price tag at a “Resistance Summer” rally in Texas on Wednesday. In fact, Pelosi was so thrilled with the $400 billion dollar program that she said the Affordable Care Act (ACA) was a step toward a national program.

Pelosi pointed out that half of the price tag would come from the federal government under Obamacare.

Where would the remaining $200 billion come from? Well, California could eliminate every single other state government program and dedicate their entire budget to the single payer system to cover the cost.
