Bill Nye: Ted Cruz ‘Is Notorious for Cherry Picking Climate Data’

NYE: "With regard to Mr. Cruz, I completely disagree with him and he is notorious for cherry picking climate data. It either reflects a profound ignorance of reading graphs or choosing to ignore a situation he doesn't wish to acknowledge. In the state of Texas, whence Mr. Cruz hails, they now get 10 percent of their energy from the wind. This is in the oil patch. By the way, last weekend California reached a milestone where it had two-thirds of its energy, on a Saturday, from renewable sources, which is remarkable. So with respect to Mr. Cruz, I just completely disagree with him. I don't want to go too far into this speaking for other people, but everybody in the climate change community is very concerned about that point of view."
