Chris Coons: Fact Manafort and Stone Are Willing to Turn Over Docs Is ‘Encouraging’

‘It means that the Senate Intelligence Committee is moving forward and cooperating and functioning well on a bipartisan basis and issuing subpoenas and getting documents’

RUSH TRANSCRIPT:
BLITZER: "The former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and Roger stone both cooperated with document requests. How significant is that?"
COONS: "It means that the Senate Intelligence Committee is moving forward and cooperating and functioning well on a bipartisan basis and issuing subpoenas and getting documents and testimony back in response to that question. It means that they have moved to the phase of reviewing documentary evidence to where they are going out and securing documentary evidence, and I think that’s encouraging because it means they are making real progress."
