‘The only thing that will wring an ounce of humility out of Obama is if the Democrats lose the Senate in November’

Mitch McConnell: ‘The Imperial President Obama’ Won’t Let SCOTUS Humble Him (Mediaite)

On Hugh Hewitt‘s radio show today, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell celebrated a Supreme Court victory over recess appointments(in a surprising unanimous decision rebuking a sitting president) against “the imperial President Obama,” whom McConnell said was taking such “egregious” actions that even the Supreme Court’s liberals felt he had to be reined in.

McConnell said Obama “decided that he knew more than we did” and acted in a “particularly maddening” manner. Hewitt asked McConnell if this Supreme Court decision will “humble” Obama in any way.

McConnell said that’s really unlikely, given Obama’s other executive actions, and said the only thing that will wring an ounce of humility out of Obama is if the Democrats lose the Senate in November.
