Neil Cavuto Excoriates Viewers Who Claim He Was ‘Rude’ to Bachmann (Mediaite)

Neil Cavuto ended his show today addressing all the viewer complaints about his contentious battle yesterday with Michele Bachmann over a House plan to sue President Obama. Cavuto completely stood by the interview and said that while Bachmann’s intentions are good, “we cannot waste time playing games.”

Cavuto read an assortment of angry viewer emails calling him “rude” and loud-mouthed and sexist, and swearing never to watch him ever again, while Cavuto continued to emphasize that if Democrats tried suing a Republican president it would be equally silly. He even played video of himself getting just as angry with male Democrats to brush aside the charge of sexism.

Cavuto insisted that the lawsuit is just political “posturing” and said, “We are out of money, we are out of ideas, we are out of time. We cannot waste time playing games, suing each other, naming each other, pointing fingers at each other.”
