MSNBC Host Reacts to GOP Senate Health Care Group: ‘Wow, 13 Dudes’ (The Washington Free Beacon)
MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle spoke derisively Tuesday of the "13 dudes" in the Senate working on a health care bill.
The Republican-led House of Representatives passed the American Health Care Act last week as a means of repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. The Senate is writing its own bill, however, that may keep some of the provisions of Obamacare in order to pass it.
A working group led by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) is meeting each week to find a bill that will get 51 votes and see what it can retain from the House version. All members of the group are men.
