Tom Price: Patients, Families and Doctors Will Be Back in Charge of Health Care

PRICE: "The big thing is patients and families and doctors will be back in charge of health care, not Washington, D.C. And then the second thing is, the choices that patients are going to be able to have to select the kind of coverage that they want for themselves and for their family as opposed to what Washington forces them to buy are going to be significant. Finally, I think it's important to stress once again that individuals with preexisting illnesses and conditions, they are going to be covered. The President has made that commitment. This bill passed through the House yesterday will make certain that is the case and it will be coverage that they are able to utilize, the kind of care that they want, not that the government forces them to purchase."
