Heidi Przybyla: ‘Republicans Didn’t Want to Try to Fix ObamaCare Because It Is a Federal Program’

‘The ideological fight here is that Republicans didn’t want to try to fix ObamaCare because it is a federal program’

EXCERPT:

PRZYBYLA: "We know that just by virtue of the Congress threatening to take away those subsidies that it’s spooking a lot of the insurers, which is causing the very problem that Republicans say is the whole justification for having to change the entire system. The ideological fight here is that Republicans didn’t want to try to fix ObamaCare because it is a federal program. Part of the goal here is to claw back a lot of these entitlement programs. This should be seen as part of a broader effort that could extend to other entitlements, including Social Security and Medicare as this administration goes on.”
