GOP Rep. Responds to Chelsea Clinton: Maybe She Wants to Run for Office to ‘Do Better Than Her Mommy’ (Mediaite)

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) fired back today at Chelsea Clinton in response to a tweet in which she criticized the congressman’s stance on health care:

Clinton’s tweet links to a New York Magazine story by Jonathan Chait, in which the liberal writer lambasts Brooks for tying poor health to moral deficiency.

Chait, along with a chorus of critics, seized on Brooks’ comments to Jake Tapper on Monday that people who “lead good lives” should pay less for health insurance, and not have to subsidize the cost of those who don’t lead “good lives.”
