Andy Puzder: David Stockman’s ‘Absolutely Wrong’; You Can Pay for Tax Cuts with Growth

PUZDER: "It’s not a fantasy. You could pay for it with economic growth. I think he’s absolutely wrong. Economic growth — look, we really need to do two things. One is we need to create good-paying jobs, we need to have increased wages and benefits, and we need to reduce what’s become a rash of income inequality in this country and we need to reduce the deficit or eliminate the deficit. The only thing that can do that is economic growth. These people that are attacking the plan because they don’t think it will generate enough economic growth, really have no other plan. We need economic growth to better the situation for American workers and middle-class Americans and we need it to reduce the deficit. David Stockman is a good guy. You know, I’m sure he could be right, but I don’t think he is. I think he’s wrong."
