Speaker John Boehner (R., Ohio) called on the Obama Administration to “come clean” regarding the missing IRS emails.

Boehner chastised the IRS for “illegally targeting Americans for their political beliefs,” “violating their First Amendment rights,” and losingtwo years worth of vital Lois Lerner’s emails.

“The White House promised to cooperate,” Boehner said. He continued, “But [they] did nothing…The White House has not lifted a finger to help us get to the bottom of this. He [the President] owes the American people the truth about what happened at the IRS.”
