Issa: ‘Syria Is Not Going To Be an Easy Fix’

ISSA: "And I'm going to share something with you, the idea that we are going to cut the State Department by 20 or 30 percent, we can have a discussion about any cut, but the one cut that Congressman Vargas and I along with congresswomen Tenney and Comstock saw was, this is not an area to cut. We need to figure out with the world community how we’re going to make sure that these children get fed, clothed, and educated so we don’t have a generation of future terrorists in a country that is always problematic. Syria is not going to be an easy fix. But it’s certainly going to be broken if we have millions of kids that grow up without an education, only looking to the mosque for guidance."
