Keith Ellison: Georgia-06 Results Were a ‘Disappointment’

ELLISON: "We had a good candidate in Jon Ossoff and he ran hard and he did really, really well. At 48 percent plus, he won well enough to lead the field but not enough to win the race. There's going to be a runoff because he didn't hit the 50 percent + 1. And this is going to be very tough because this is a traditionally Republican district, no doubt about that, and I think Tom Price won it by 27 something percent and Trump won it only by 1.6 percent. It's a district with a lot of folks with a lot of education. It's a district that traditional Democrats have not won in."
MODERATOR: "But that's another disappointment to the Democrats. You've got a —"
ELLISON: "I don't know if it's a disappointment but, I mean, doing better than you're expected to do is actually encouraging."
