‘I’m Not the Left!’: Mark Cuban Fires Back at Tucker Carlson (Mediaite)

During an appearance on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight, billionaire Mark Cuban tussled with host Tucker Carlson a bit while they were discussing the recent executive order signed by President Donald Trump regarding H-1B visas for foreign workers.

Following a bit of a back-and-forth over underemployment of recent college graduates, which Carlson pointed to as a byproduct of the visas, Cuban took umbrage at the Fox host labeling him as part of the left.

After Cuban argued that these visas allow businesses to shop for the best possible talent, he noted that “either you believe in capitalism” or you don’t, leading to Carlson to take a shot at liberals.

“I love that,” Carlson exclaimed. “When did the left become addicted to market fundamentalism? There are many in-betweens.”

“I’m not the left, Tucker,” Cuban responded. “I’m not the left by a long shot!”

Basically ignoring that, the Fox host went on to ask the Dallas Mavericks owner if he applied “market forces” to his family and marriage, telling Cuban that “capitalism is not a religion.”

Towards the end of the conversation, the billionaire explained that he isn’t liberal or conservative but thinks of himself as an independent.
