Biography

Christi Paul has a dual role as an anchor for "HLN News Now" (2 p.m. ET) and for "In Session" on the truTV network. On both networks, Christi gets to the heart of the day’s most compelling news stories and trials.

Christi is a wife and mother of three daughters. Her passion for helping children influences her charity work and her professional career. Christi serves on the board of Safe Kids Georgia and as an ambassador for Liz Claibourne’s Love Is Not Abuse Foundation. In a partnership with The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in Washington, D.C., Christi tells the stories of missing children and asks viewers for their help to bring them home. Since the segment began, thirteen of the children profiled have been found and are now safely home with their families.

Prior to joining HLN in April 2003, Christi was an anchor, a consumer reporter and a weathercaster in Phoenix. First at KNXV, and then at CNN’s Phoenix affiliate KTVK, where she created a special segment with the Arizona Humane Society, to find new homes for hundreds of animals.

Before that, she worked at NBC’s affiliate KTVB in Boise, ID where the Idaho Press Club honored her for her series of stories following Julianne Prudhomme, a four-year-old girl who underwent a five organ transplant. NCMEC (Nat’l Center for Missing and Exploited Children) will also be honoring Christi this year with the Hope Award for the work that she does on behalf of children.

Christi is the author of “Love Isn’t Supposed to Hurt," in which she speaks about overcoming verbal abuse.
