Mary Katherine Ham: ‘Goodell vs. Trump Is the Iran/Iraq War of Sports Conflicts’

RUSH TRANSCRIPT First of ░░░░░░░░ Roger Goodell versus Trump ░░░░░░░░ the Iran iraq war ░░░░░░░░ sports conflicts Can they ░░░░░░░░ lose Second of all ░░░░░░░░ they had led him ░░░░░░░░ the bills we wouldn ░░░░░░░░ be talking about this ░░░░░░░░ s partly why he ░░░░░░░░ mad As usual Trump ░░░░░░░░ crass in his language ░░░░░░░░ he s wrong about ░░░░░░░░ the president should be ░░░░░░░░ whether people get fired ░░░░░░░░ expressing this That s ░░░░░░░░ private company that can ░░░░░░░░ that decision It s ░░░░░░░░ exactly a First Amendment ░░░░░░░░ but when the president ░░░░░░░░ involved that can chill ░░░░░░░░ speech and that s ░░░░░░░░ I m somebody who ░░░░░░░░ agrees with Colin Kaepernick ░░░░░░░░ about some of these ░░░░░░░░ but this particular protest ░░░░░░░░ a divisive controversial type ░░░░░░░░ protest And people get ░░░░░░░░ backs up rightfully about ░░░░░░░░ flag and about the ░░░░░░░░ During the year long ░░░░░░░░ cycle we have had ░░░░░░░░ this polling on Black ░░░░░░░░ Matter which is the ░░░░░░░░ he s backing has ░░░░░░░░ from 20 disapprove to ░░░░░░░░ disapprove And NFL attendance ░░░░░░░░ gone down So what ░░░░░░░░ is doing here and ░░░░░░░░ does want more of ░░░░░░░░ he is putting the ░░░░░░░░ left of this country ░░░░░░░░ people who are against ░░░░░░░░ or who criticize his ░░░░░░░░ on the wrong side ░░░░░░░░ the flag and the ░░░░░░░░ ll And they re ░░░░░░░░ to do it loudly ░░░░░░░░ obviously And even though ░░░░░░░░ of those issues are ░░░░░░░░ politically speaking his instinct ░░░░░░░░ correct here I don ░░░░░░░░ think it s a ░░░░░░░░ move for the country ░░░░░░░░ the instinct is correct ░░░░░░░░ those people will look ░░░░░░░░
