Peter King I Accept Comey’s Conclusion that There Was No Wiretap of Trump Tower

RUSH TRANSCRIPT:

BLITZER: "Director Comey also today said there is no information that supports trump’s four tweets from 16 days ago on wiretapping claims. He claimed that President Obama ordered wiretaps of Trump Tower in New York City. Do you accept the conclusion of the FBI director and the department of justice?”

KING: "Yeah, I do. I have a great regard for James Comey."

BLITZER: "Should the president, as a result. Apologize to the former president?”

KING: "The president has to decide what he has to do.”

BLITZER: "What do you think.”

KING: "I would but I’m not the president .S here is where the president overshot the mark. There are people whether holdovers from the Obama Administration or in the national security apparatus, who have been leaking, the classified top secret information which has been leaked out. I’m not talking about political gossip or palace intrigue. I’m talking about top secret information to hurt president Trump. If the president said where is the information coming from, that would have been better than talking about President Obama ord ordering a wiretap. I think there are people in the government who leaked intending to hurt Donald Trump.”
