Dr. Siegel: ‘Probable’ Europe’s New Coronavirus Wave Comes to U.S.

SIEGEL: "I think it's more than possible. I think it's probable, but I want to point out that it does look like the virus has become more highly transmissible, but according to Dr. Collins, head of NIH, less deadly. In other words, there seems to have been a mutation to this virus where it still gets you sick and it still — more transmissible, but the death rate is down. And the CDC said 0.65 percent death rate at this point, way less than it was at the beginning of the pandemic. And all of these new treatments, by the way, have something to do with that."
