Michael Warren: Nancy Pelosi ‘Has Been a Pretty Good Leader for Her Party’

‘It’s a lot easier to do it when you’re in the minority and the responsibility of governing is not on you’

EXCERPT:

WARREN: "Well, she has been so far actually a pretty good leader for her party. It’s a lot easier to do that when you’re in the minority and the responsibility of governing is not on you. This is something Republicans like to do, you know, talk about before they had the majority in the House and then later in the Senate. So again, a lot easier when you don’t have that responsibility. But there are some rumblings within her party, particularly on the far left that she is not delivering enough and they want some new blood. This is a conversation that seems to happen every couple of years and yet Nancy Pelosi sticks around. I think that’s a credit to her political abilities within her conference."
