David Shulkin: The VA System ‘Has Had Decades of Neglect’ and Has ‘Fallen Behind’

SHULKIN: "Well look, this is really a system that has had decades of neglect and really has fallen behind. And what we’re doing now is we're getting a lot of things done to get this system back on path to modernize the system, to make it a system that we all want for our veterans. And we are getting this done. This is our fifth major piece of legislation that we signed yesterday that were getting done in bipartisan support. And so we're going to have a lot more to do but I feel good about where we’re headed."
