A Democratic representative said on MSNBC on Thursday that the Democrats cannot wait for President Trump to “hang himself,” and they needed to remove him from office on their own.

Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) was using a metaphor, but his comments are sure to raise some eyebrows.

Cohen announced that he plans on introducing his own articles of impeachment following the president’s comments on the Charlottesville domestic terrorist attack.
