Michael D’Antonio: Loyalty for Trump Falls in One Direction, Towards Him

‘So if you done one thing wrong, if you don’t demonstrate a reversal the next day, you’re out’

RUSH EXCERPT:
COOPER: "Michael, you wrote the book on Trump. What does loyalty mean to Trump?"
D'ANTONIO: "Not very much. It falls in one direction, toward him."
COOPER: "You have to be loyal to him."
D'ANTONIO: Absolutely. And everything is transactional. So if you done one thing wrong, if you don't demonstrate a reversal the next day, you're out. If I were to channel the president, what I would say about him is that he's a back stabber. He's a fair-weather friend. He's a coward.
